Bob's Red Mill Mighty Tasty GF Hot Cereal

How could you not like this quick & easy gluten free breakfast after reading the "mighty tasty" label? I had a small portion (still utilizing the free samples from the 2012 CDF Conference and Food Faire) of Bob's Red Mill Hot Cereal and was anxious to try it on a recent trip to Orange County. Fellow celiacs at the CDF conference raved about this yummy breakfast, so I was excited to give it a try.
Side note- a majority of the gluten free samples I pick up while attending various gluten free conventions I regularly stash away for traveling and weekend trips. So this sample size was a perfect breakfast that I threw in my overnight bag.

I simply brought 3 1/4 cups of water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt to a boil. Stirred in 1 cup cereal and immediately turned the heat to low, continued to stir until cereal and water were well blended. I then covered the pot and cooked for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
The package recommended to enjoy the hot cereal with honey, brown sugar and milk, so I tired all 3 additions and was very pleased with my end product. A warm, high fiber breakfast that didn't take all morning to prepare.
Ingredients:
whole grain brown rice, corn, sweet white sorghum, buckwheat
