Sprinkles in La Jolla

I don’t know if it is a blessing or a problem but Sprinkles in La Jolla is walking distance from my office. I constantly want to take a short walk to get an incredible gluten free cupcake.

On February 10th, I will definitely be walking over and getting a cupcake because 100% of the proceeds from Sprinkles Red Velvet and Gluten Free Red Velvet cupcake sales with go to benefit Life Rolls On.

Support a sweet cause with The Bachelor and The Bachelorette's Tenley Molzahn and Kiptyn Locke- they will be there from 12 - 2 to serve sweet cupcakes!

Life Goes On is dedicated to improving the quality of life for young people affected by spinal cord injury and utilizes action sports as a platform to inspire infinite possibilities despite paralysis.
A cupcake is the perfect treat for a celebration, a just because treat, a bad day delight BUT on February 10th it’s more than just a bite of sweetness it’s a great contribution at the same time.

It’s just another reason why I love Sprinkles! Share the great news with your friends and family!

  1. I haven't been to La Jolla since 2009. This and the gorgeous beaches are enough to draw me back. I think there is a Sprinkles in NYC. I will have to check it out.

    1. Yes, there is a Sprinkles in NYC: 780 Lexington Avenue Manhattan, NY 10065 :) I am hoping they come up with a second flavor, but in the meantime the Red Velvet is good enough for me!

    2. I went to Sprinkles in Newport Beach, CA to try their red velvet gluten free cupcake. Unfortunately, I ended up getting some gluten and had a severe allergic reaction after eating the cupcake. I have been in touch with Sprinkles and they are investigating the matter. I would caution you to be very careful. Not everything marked gluten free is safe to eat and many people in the food industry are trying to get on the gluten free bandwagon without really knowing what they are doing.

    3. I am so sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Sprinkles in Newport Beach. I do agree with you when you say many companies these days label "gluten free" on their product because they are trying to make more money and cater to a larger market. Thank you for letting me know. I find myself at times letting my guard down and not asking all the questions before hand. I hope you will give Sprinkles a second chance, I have been going to the La Jolla one for a few years now and have not had a problem. Thanks for stopping by my blog, hope to see you back again!:)
