Best Gluten Free Bagel

Breakfast Bagel with Fruit- a nutritious meal that gets me going in the morning. Typically I'm rushing to work with little time to prepare a satisfying breakfast so I have learned to pack items that I can easily make at the office, one of my favorites is Udi's Whole Grain Bagels. I have tried EVERY single brand of gluten free bagels and this one by far is the BEST! A crunchy outside with a chewy not rock in texture inside. There are 4 bagels in one package. I purchase them at Whole Foods for $5.89.




A few tips in preparation:
  • Udi's bagels are best if kept frozen
  • Defrost bagel at room temperature an hour before you toast it
  • If you are in a hurry, defrost the bagel for 30 seconds in the microwave and then toast

  1. Udi's bagels are nothing more than a piece of Udi's white bread shaped in a circle with a hole in the center. They taste fine, but they are a far cry from the density, chewiness and mouth feel of a bagel. Glutino bagels were better but alas, they have been discontinued.
